Magnus Care Foundation

Magnus Care Foundation is focused on improving the quality of life of older adults across the world. We have expertise in gerontology and the health services required to provide high quality senior care at an affordable cost. We develop insights to share with research institutions and providers of long-term care that support their efforts towards creating a healthier and more supportive world for seniors.

We are presently focused on the COVID-19 pandemic and senior citizens. Eighty percent or more of the deaths caused by COVID-19 are occurring amongst people over the age of 65. Our research efforts are currently centered around Asia, which can once again become the epicenter of the pandemic, and under focused sectors in the informal economy that can contribute to disease spread putting seniors at greater risk of infection. The informal economy represents the majority of economic activity in many Asian countries and requires the attention of researchers and governments during the pandemic in order to protect public health and older populations.

Our research findings will be available via our report, ‘Vulnerability Analysis of Aging Populations and the Informal Economy in Asia’ which will be shared for the benefit of public health once completed. We are sharing data collected, insights and findings with research institutions, public health experts, and partner organizations for research related to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you would like access to our report when it is completed or would like to propose a collaboration with our foundation please feel free to share your information with us.

We do not accept unsolicited proposals for funding.
